Mercato and The Daily Cafe get the nod from the Tribune, read the full article. Mercato gets overall praise for the variety and quality of the food. The Daily gets kudos for its dinner, calling at a best-kept secret dining spot in the city.It also mentions the Cooks, Corks and Co-Conspirators dinners The Daily co-hosts with Caplan Art Designs. These dinners pair food, wine and a featured artist, and provide you the opportunity to meet the artist in a more intimate setting. Its a nice change of pace from First Thursday.

There is a really creative new dinner series launching on March 5 at local favorite, The Daily Cafe. If you like food, wine and art, then you'll enjoy what I bill as a feast for the senses.
Daily Café and Caplan Art Designs will debut the "Cooks, Corks and Co-Conspirators" monthly dinner series on Wednesday, March 5 at 6 p.m. Held on the first Wednesday of every month, this event will feature a unique pairing of wine, food and art.
On March 5, meet artist Peter Miller, view his collection of urban landscape photography and enjoy a three-course wine dinner playing off Miller's New York origins. The concept is old world/new world meets east coast/west coast. Music provided by High Tone Duo. The dinner is $60 per person, including wine. Gratuity not included.
