Rachel O'Rourke and Danny Ostrov met salsa dancing and fell in love over chocolate malts at Margie's Soda Fountain in Chicago. Rachel and Danny soon moved to Portland, Oregon, got married and together discovered a passion for estate sale hunting and collecting rare unique jewelry. Danny bought Rachel a drill press for her birthday several years later and she began to experiment with vintage plastics by creating modern works of wearable art. Portlanders ravenously collected her designs, and what began as a form of self-_expression soon emerged as Lucky LooLoo. Rachel is part of the PDX Super Crafty collective.
